Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG) has released new design details on its first New York condominium and hotel project at 76 Eleventh Avenue near the High Line in West Chelsea (h/t Designboom). Known as “The Eleventh,” the project, first presented in 2016, is comprised of a pair of twisting asymmetrical bronze and travertine towers joined by a skybridge. The building’s windowed facade is said to be inspired by the Meatpacking District’s iconic warehouses.

The first American location–and first urban concept–for Six Sense hotel and spa will occupy the project’s 25-story east tower on the third through tenth floors, below 87 condominium residences. The west tower–the taller of the two at 34 stories–will feature 149 residential units. The connecting podium bridges will hold amenities.
The towers’ twisting silhouettes will allow for incredible 360-degree skyline and waterfront views. Developed by HFZ Capital, the project is slated for completion sometime in 2019.
